Our Baby and Nursery Rooms

My baby is 15 - 24 months old

This is Baby Room 2 where those children who are steady on their feet play. We have lots of exciting toys and activities to encourage their curiosity and imagination.

Activities are planned each day around a monthly topic. All areas of development are encouraged using a wide range of fun activities. These include touching experiences including sand, water, rice, shredded paper,’gloop’ to encourage them to try new and unusual things, creative activities like painting, colouring, printing, language activities such as singing, music and stories, small manipulation using  puzzles and physical activities like bike riding, slides and climbing frames.

Parts of the day are set aside for free play so that the children can choose what they would like to play with. One of the greatest skills that they learn at this time is how to share and play with others. It is a very social, fun environment.

There is a separate sleeping room to help to relax and refresh ready for the next round of play. The changing area is also separate.
