About the Sandpit Nursery

Here at The Sandpit Nursery we want to give your child the best possible start that he or she can have. We want you as parents/carers to feel confident and happy that your child is cared for in the way that you would like, to the highest standards, in the best possible surroundings, with staff that care and are well trained. We want you to be confident that they are in safe hands.

Our Beliefs

• All children learn through play.
• Learning is and must be fun
• We do not focus on the end product, it may not be perfect but it is the having a go and trying that is important!
• Children learn through doing, experiences and by being given good role models.

I’m thinking of sending my child to nursery

Hello, my name is Amanda Sanderson, owner of the Sandpit Nursery. Considering a nursery for your child is not an easy decision, if you feel like I did when looking for child care for my boys there’s so many things to consider. First of all will she / he settle? What do they do there? Am I doing the right thing? Are they safe? So the list goes on. This website should help answer all these questions. I do strongly recommend you arrange a visit to come and see us, where you and your child can get a feel for the nursery.
